Lovely shopping city Den Bosch

To do some last christmas-shopping and re-discovery i went to Den Bosch.

It's realy worth taking a trip to this lovely city. One of the few city that has terasses even in the winter time.

You have the conveniences of all the big stores, and the charm of the little ones.

I mentioned re-discovery, because Den Bosch has a lot of new stores. All with their own new identity.

If you would like to visit, you can find them in the Vughterstraat.

Wrapping Ideas

Christmascards, gifts, outfits all these things together make a very busy December.
When you have carefully selected your gifts, big or small, original or maybe not so much. It doesn't matter what your gift is going to be, as long as you wrap it in a special way, everyone feels special!

Lille or as the dutch and belgium folks say Rijsel

A little while ago, my boyfriend asked me what i would like to have for my birthday. I always have a hard time coming up with something, but there is one thing that makes me realy happy, Traveling! Explore the world and it's many beautiful city's!

So we decided to go to Lille (or Rijsel)! A two hour drive took us to Lille where we spend our time shopping and being super toerists. ( with my huge camera around my neck, we saw most of the centre and the veille ville (old city centre).

At around 18.00 we drove to our hotel/ bed and breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised! Although we carefully searched for a unique place, we were blown away by the beauty of the chateau. 

Chateau des Ormes was truly a unique place, for it's charme, as well as the charm of the hostess, who made our stay one we will sertainly not forget.

HAY

To start with, i'm very fond of Scandinavian brands, en a little less fond of color.
My wardrobe therefore hasn't many splurges on the colorfield. And at home the colors grey, white and sand mainly dominate.

But this brand changed my opinion about the use of colors in an interior totaly!
The brand is colorful and very tempting. It has nice furniture, sweet accesories and lots of "hebbedingetjes".

Today i went to a sample sale. This time from Fred de la Bretoniere.

There were al kinds of shoes. Boots, ankle boots, high heels, flats..one better then the other and i think i've done a good job!

The Markthal Rotterdam

A quick visit to the markthal is impossible. The markthal had been open since october the 1st. And it has been busy eversince. Understandable because there is so much te see and taste! Vegetables, bread, mushrooms, chocolate, sausages, cheese..

You need to make a budget before you go, because elsewise you spend your money on things you probably don't need! (Or maybe that's not such a bad idea?)

A few weeks ago i joined a giveaway via Facebook. You needed to send your personal favorite stand at the Markthal, and then you could win bag full of products from the markthal...and i won!!

The book was already mine but very usefull to find those fruits.

What to do, a new hair-do?

For the moment my hair is long, with a kind of ombre effect at the bottom (read; very large outgrowth. But it works)

And if i'm going for a new haircut it has to be easy, low maintenance, and at least a bit sexy. The last thing i want, is it to be dull.

So maybe i'm going to try a shorter haircut with soms sunkissed highlights or again a bit of ombre at the bottom.

Nailpolish (especially for Marloes)

For years i have been a nailpolish addict. You can change colors as many times as you like, and adjust it to your outfit!
Cheaper isn't always better (or worse) but in this case i have an affordable favorite, the Hema nailpolish!

They come in various colors and are long lasting.

And they have some new colors, as this one, number 833. It is a mix of grey and a bit of army green.

So here you go Marloes, this is the color i had on recently!

Pop-up

Let everything Pop-up! Pop-up stores, Pop-up markets , Pop-up cafés.

An incredible way to; 

-Give starters a chance to show their capabilities

-Give designers a chance to show their creations

-Give creativity a platform

-Give consumers a new fresh way to shop, eat and discover

-Fill empty places

In Gorinchem (maybe you think, of all places.. but yess) a pop-up store popped up!

As far as i was able to see you can buy, cookbooks, books, jewelry, candles, lamps, cards and all kinds of other fun stuff you immediately want to buy, without any good reason, but who needs a reason to buy anyway?!
