Bring some color in your winter home 'inspiration'

Every year by the time it is January i feel the need to get some color in my home.

So i wanted to show you some of my personal inspirations.

Fine and simple stack rings

Personaly i don´t wear a lot of jewelry accept my earrings and a ring occasionaly.

But i love the recent trend of fine and simple jewelry.
Like the thin necklaces and stack rings.

So yesterday i´ve bought my first stack rings and i made some pictures of them to show you!

The three rings you see on my hand are from Bijou-brigitte.

The anchor was 14,95 and so were the two crosses together!

I've also found these, they are from urbanoutfitters (nice if you wear other golden jewelry or accesories)

They come in a multipack of of assorted, fine band gold-tone rings. 

And it will cost only 17 euro's for the pack.

Blue monday

That is whats is going to be tomorrow, BLUE Monday.
Why is it called blue monday? Because it's is January and supposedly the most depressing day of the whole year!

Blue jeans, a piece of clothing you just can not mis!

Lately i've just fell in love with the vintage ones from Levi's, or other high-waist denims.

They are great to combine with a simple white tee or shirt! Wear with flats or high heels, whatever you choose with the right pair of jeans, you will look effortlessly georgious!

ixxi-design on the wall

For some wall decoration u can use many things. Posters, pictures, wall paper, paintings.. But it's not easy to find some that fits in your home and is personal as well. 

Well i found it! It is called ixxi and it works with small square cards that form a sort of patchwork.

The cards are attached by x's and the size of the ixxi is entirely up to you!

The last painting is something i would like to have ixxi-fied on my wall!

Re-use and do-it-yourself

Sometimes i'm looking at all these interior-design websites and i immediatly want to change things at home.

Move furniture, or buy some. Buy new vases to fill with new flowers. Hang new posters on the wall. But what if you don't have to buy anything. Have a look around in your home and see if you can re-use some stuff.

Color of the year 2015, and spring colors

Out with the old, in with the new.

We left 2014 behind us, and making a fresh start with 2015!
So what are the trend for this new year ahead of us? Lets start with spring. The collections are starting to apear in the stores as we speak, and although it's still winter, we love the new stuff!

Leading colortrends in Pantone. The pantone Color Institute provides color trend forecasting and color insights.
They have presented the color of the year 2015, and it's Marsala.
Marsala is a wine from Italy, and the color 'Marsala' from pantone reminds you just of that.

Pantone also presented the colors for spring 2015.

They have various tones of blue, but also other tones like custard or strawberry ice.
