A true Dutchie

One of the most Dutch stores in Holland is called the Hema! Almost every dutch person has something from the Hema. (A bit like Ikea?)

Towels, candles, underwear, stroopwafels, pots and pans..you name it they have it! And lately they have spiced up their assortment, with all kinds of decorational and fun items.

Here are a few of my favourites!

I also love this olive oil tin! Watch the (..to be precise) right half of the picture..some humor is always welcome!

My hometown

Since two years i've moved to Brabant but my hometown is Dordrecht or 'Dordt' as we call it.

So last sunday we (my mother, me, my boyfriend and his parents) visited Dordrecht and made a tour through the centre. (Loved it!)

We went to all kinds of galeries and artshops, but also visited the cityhall which was a big surprise because you can visit the city's prison from the 17th century. It was prety impressive!

For lunch we went to Villa Augustus. You can go there for breakfast, lunch and diner. They have a fabulous garden and they cultivate their own vegetables and fruit. The whole experience is worth the visit!

Still love Dordrecht...
