Sample sales ( Fred de la bretoniere)

Today i went to a sample sale. This time from Fred de la Bretoniere.

You needed to subscribe and get an invitation.

There were al kinds of shoes. Boots, ankle boots, high heels, flats..one better then the other and i think i've done a good job!

The Markthal Rotterdam

A quick visit to the markthal is impossible. The markthal had been open since october the 1st. And it has been busy eversince. Understandable because there is so much te see and taste! Vegetables, bread, mushrooms, chocolate, sausages, cheese..

You need to make a budget before you go, because elsewise you spend your money on things you probably don't need! (Or maybe that's not such a bad idea?)

A few weeks ago i joined a giveaway via Facebook. You needed to send your personal favorite stand at the Markthal, and then you could win bag full of products from the markthal...and i won!!

The book was already mine but very usefull to find those fruits.

What to do, a new hair-do?

For the moment my hair is long, with a kind of ombre effect at the bottom (read; very large outgrowth. But it works)

And if i'm going for a new haircut it has to be easy, low maintenance, and at least a bit sexy. The last thing i want, is it to be dull.

So maybe i'm going to try a shorter haircut with soms sunkissed highlights or again a bit of ombre at the bottom.

Nailpolish (especially for Marloes)

For years i have been a nailpolish addict. You can change colors as many times as you like, and adjust it to your outfit!
Cheaper isn't always better (or worse) but in this case i have an affordable favorite, the Hema nailpolish!

They come in various colors and are long lasting.

And they have some new colors, as this one, number 833. It is a mix of grey and a bit of army green.

So here you go Marloes, this is the color i had on recently!

Pop-up

Let everything Pop-up! Pop-up stores, Pop-up markets , Pop-up cafés.

An incredible way to; 

-Give starters a chance to show their capabilities

-Give designers a chance to show their creations

-Give creativity a platform

-Give consumers a new fresh way to shop, eat and discover

-Fill empty places

In Gorinchem (maybe you think, of all places.. but yess) a pop-up store popped up!

As far as i was able to see you can buy, cookbooks, books, jewelry, candles, lamps, cards and all kinds of other fun stuff you immediately want to buy, without any good reason, but who needs a reason to buy anyway?!

High heels, handbags, make-up i love feminine stuff!

But i'm verryy happy that we can also wear sneaker and still be fashionable!

From taking our sneakers and changing them in to heels, to oversized sweaters and tees and wearing sneakers all day!

Who doesn't like comfy and fashionable at the same time?

Cable farmer, oftewel Snoer boer

As i am very busy with our interior, and always looking for DIY-projects, i wanted to see if i can change the lights in our home.
Looking on the internet for DIY lamps, i found Snoerboer.nl. It's a website where you can find all the nescesery accuipments to make your own lamps.

Its starts by choosing your own coulor for the cable (snoer). And then you can also choose different light holders. And last but not least, you can choose a kinds of lightbulbs.

Everything is black and white

Although i am perfectly satisfied with our livingroom, it would be nice to make it a little bit more 'daring' and 'different'.

Furniture wise, we would like to have new ; chairs, lamps, a new table and we would like it all to be designer material. 

Guess what?! Not an option! 

So we are going for plan B..make one of our walls BLACK.

The black wall in combination with some wooden, copper and golden details make it a very warm look.

Dutch Design Week, DDW '14

Sunday 26-10-2014 i took a visit at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. I've been wanting to go there for years, and now i finaly went.

We started at the Piet Hein Eek area, and we saw some wonderful design.
Not only established names showed their collections, but there were also some new designers who graduaded in the class of 2008 the design academy in eindhoven.

Below you will find some of my favorite items we were able to see at the DDW '14.
